About the role

  • Join the Connectors Engineering team and help enhance Vonage Connectors Collection.
  • Contribute to both new feature development and production improvements.
  • Focus on quality, fault tolerance, and performance.
  • Gain hands-on experience with real-time communications and event-driven systems.
  • Develop both frontend and backend solutions.
  • Enhance a range of connectors and services.
  • Collaborate with team members and product manager to deliver world-class products across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • TypeScript / Java coding skills, willingness to learn other languages and environments.
  • Strong backend experience - TypeScript / Java
  • Strong frontend experience - pure HTML/TypeScript/CSS.
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and platforms.
  • Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, memory management, and concurrency.
  • DB knowledge.
  • Source management (Git) / Agile development techniques.
  • Effective remote collaboration and communication skills.
