About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- lead their team in daily duties
- assure quality service to all program participants
- supportive interaction with program participants and team members
- assess participants’ needs
- maintain safety and integrity of residents
- perform work duties as required
- conduct safety checks inside and outside of the facility
- coordinate daily routines such as bed assignments and showers
- de-escalate crises and provide emergency assistance
- maintain daily reports and complete shift logs
Requirements
What you’ll need- extensive knowledge of the program policies and procedures or ability to interpret policies
- experience preferred in similar program
- demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions
- general knowledge of issues unique to homelessness, substance abuse, young adults, minorities, and people with disabilities
- experience with a range of interventions to work with clients with varying needs
- flexibility to work irregular hours
- willingness to function as a team member
- computer skills required
- valid California driver's license
- ability to meet the organization’s insurance carrier guidelines
- must pass all required background clearances
- CPR/First Aid certification is required within 90 days of employment
- completion and maintenance of all required training and health clearances
