Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for the efficient and compassionate operation of the program
assuring quality service to all residents through the coordination of program functions and specific assistance to other program staff
manage job search skills and activities, job matching and placement activities with employers and participants
continued assessment of job readiness
facilitate job clubs/alumni groups
provide retention services to the employees

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred
two years of successful experience in the delivery of human services or any combination of education, training and experience
demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions
general knowledge of issues and challenges unique to foster youth population, homelessness, substance abuse, minorities, and people with disabilities
specific knowledge and experience with foster youth culture, housing first approaches, addiction and recovery, and dysfunctional family dynamics are preferred
Valid California driver's license and ability to meet the organization’s insurance carrier guidelines
