About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for full cycle recruiting for program and administrative positions across California and Nevada
- partners closely with HR and program leadership to understand workforce needs
- develop sourcing strategies and ensure a positive, mission aligned candidate experience
- manage full cycle recruiting: develop and post job announcements, screen applications, conduct initial interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews, and support offer and pre hire processes
- source candidates through job boards, social media, professional associations, colleges, workforce partners, and community organizations
- maintain and optimize use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- coordinate and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities
- collaborate with HR colleagues to standardize job descriptions, interview guides, and selection tools
- support hiring managers with interview training, selection decisions, and equitable hiring practices
- assist with onboarding coordination
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field
- One to three years of experience in full cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR role
- Experience supporting multiple locations or high-volume hiring is strongly preferred
- Four years of additional recruiting experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience recruiting for human services, nonprofit, healthcare, or similar mission driven environments
- Working knowledge of recruiting best practices, basic employment law/EEO considerations, and use of ATS
- Strong relationship building, communication, and consulting skills with hiring managers at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Experience recruiting in California and/or Nevada and familiarity with regional labor markets preferred
- Experience with nonprofit program roles such as shelter staff, case managers, outreach workers, and clinical/support positions preferred
- Valid California driver's license and ability to meet the organization’s insurance carrier guidelines are required
