About the role

  • lead the Enterprise sales team, reporting directly to the VP of Sales
  • responsible for delivering on an aggressive sales plan
  • ensure the team exceeds its qualified booked meetings goal
  • grow and develop the team of Enterprise Sales Directors
  • identify opportunities to increase revenue throughout the customer lifecycle
  • collaborate cross-functionally to drive impactful customer engagements
  • use data to track progress toward goals
  • timely reporting and management of Enterprise Team activities through Voltus’s CRM system
  • develop & drive best practices across the organization

Requirements

  • experience driving complex sales cycles with enterprise-class customers
  • ability to grow and directly manage an elite outside sales team
  • deep relationships with decision makers at Fortune 1000 companies and commercial and industrial customers
  • subject matter expert in the demand response and distributed energy resources industry
  • ability to deliver against quarterly and annual quota
  • recruiting, supporting, coaching, and developing team of Enterprise Sales Directors
  • functional knowledge of the nine wholesale energy markets and products Voltus offers
