About the role

  • Voltage Park mission: make machine learning infrastructure and GPU access transparent and accessible
  • Help build the financial backbone of a high-growth company
  • Remote role; candidate must be located in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Chicago area
  • Lead audit readiness and ensure successful completion of a 2025 audit; establish internal controls and GAAP compliance; manage Big 4 audit partners and tax advisors
  • Oversee accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxation, benefits compliance; drive monthly close; manage external accountants
  • Implement scalable accounting systems and reporting (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Rippling, Ramp); oversee treasury management and optimize cash flow
  • Deliver granular actionable financial reporting; partner with Sales, CX, Marketing, and Operations; identify financial risks and opportunities
  • Grow and mentor a high-performing accounting team; manage accounting consultants

Requirements

  • CPA with proven start-up finance experience (seed → growth)
  • Experienced with Big 4 audit partners + external accountants
  • Built/led high-performing finance teams
  • Operated at companies that went public or scaled rapidly
  • Scrappy, hands-on, and excited to own the function end-to-end
  • Must be located in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Chicago area
