About the role
- Manage and supervise a team of up to 10 land agents and support personnel
- Oversee day-to-day land acquisition operations, including landowner negotiations, easement acquisition, and project coordination
- Manage project budgets and ensure land activities remain aligned with project financial parameters
- Coordinate closely with title teams, project developers, and clients to maintain accurate ownership and property information
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance to field agents, and ensure adherence to project schedules
- Maintain compliance with applicable land acquisition standards and client requirements
- Provide regular reporting and project updates to internal leadership and clients
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of land experience
- Relevant degree
- Active membership with either the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) or the International Right of Way Association (IRWA)
