About the role

  • Lead the review and restructuring of the accounting and financial modules in the Benner ERP;
  • Ensure correct accounting, financial and tax parameterization of the system;
  • Define and implement best practices for ERP governance and usage.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Controllership, Accounting, and IT for ERP-related matters with the software vendor;
  • Ensure the ERP adequately supports accounting and financial close processes;
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information produced by the system.
  • Map, review, and optimize financial workflows within the ERP;
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains;
  • Reduce parallel controls outside the system (spreadsheets, legacy systems, and manual processes).
  • Lead improvements, enhancements, and new implementations within the ERP;
  • Specify functional requirements and oversee developments;
  • Participate in major projects involving financial systems.
  • Serve as the ERP functional reference for the finance team;
  • Train users and promote best practices for system use;
  • Support the resolution of systemic issues and inconsistencies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the tourism industry.
  • Essential experience with Benner ERP (preferably in tourism).
  • Experience with accounting and financial processes and workflows.
  • Experience with ERP implementations.
  • Knowledge of databases (strong plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering (Production, Computer, or related fields).
