Key responsibilities & impact

Develop autonomy software components for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)
Design and implement autonomous behaviors to support complex autonomous missions
Validate autonomy functions using simulations and structured testing processes
Support the integration of autonomy software into flight systems and participate in flight test iterations
Develop performance metrics and evaluation methods for autonomy features
Document system designs and contribute to engineering reviews and design discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Strong software engineering skills with Python and/or C++
Experience in autonomy, robotics, perception, control, or related fields
Experience with simulation environments and iterative development cycles
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
