About the role
- Develop autonomy software components for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)
- Design and implement autonomous behaviors to support complex autonomous missions
- Validate autonomy functions using simulations and structured testing processes
- Support the integration of autonomy software into flight systems and participate in flight test iterations
- Develop performance metrics and evaluation methods for autonomy features
- Document system designs and contribute to engineering reviews and design discussions
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong software engineering skills with Python and/or C++
- Experience in autonomy, robotics, perception, control, or related fields
- Experience with simulation environments and iterative development cycles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
