About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end payroll process for assigned employee groups across Canada and the United States
  • Review and process payroll transactions related to hiring, compensation changes, variable pay, commissions, allowances, statutory leaves, terminations, final pay, and benefit or other deductions
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the Company’s stock option and RSU programs, including recordkeeping, vesting, compliance, and related payroll taxation and reporting
  • Reconcile payroll registers, remittances, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and general payroll reports
  • Support cross-border payroll administration by ensuring payroll inputs and employee data are correctly maintained for multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare payroll-related documentation and filings, including Records of Employment, year-end slips and summaries, audit support, and other payroll compliance materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-jurisdiction environment
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll, including applicable payroll legislation, statutory deductions, and compliance requirements
  • Experience processing U.S. payroll
  • Exposure to UK and/or European payroll is considered an asset
  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce is preferred; experience with BambooHR or other HRIS/payroll systems is also required
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines
