About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contractor will be responsible for manual testing within the project
Creation of manual test cases based on project requirements and PBI’s
Execution of manual test cases based on project requirements and PBI’s
Creation of bugs associated with development efforts
Reporting of testing status to manager on a weekly basis
Delivering a weekly report with test cases created and bugs reported
Analyzing current project impediments and projecting work for the upcoming week

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in QA testing
Ability to create, maintain, and execute test cases based on project requirements
Deep understanding of both the SDLC and quality assurance life cycles
Deep understanding of defect management and test case management
Effective communication with project team (Business Analysts, Developers, Project Management)
Proficient in decomposing complex requirements into well-structured test cases in Azure DevOps
Experience in testing applications built in Dynamics 365/Power Apps
Analytical problem-solving skills for root-cause analysis
