About the role

  • Conduct collection actions such as filing protests, registering negative credit listings (credit bureau reporting), and issuing letters of consent.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory procedures throughout the collection process.
  • Engage with delinquent customers to negotiate payment terms and formalize agreements.
  • Record details of negotiations and agreements in control systems.
  • Make accurate entries in systems related to renegotiations and agreements reached.
  • Ensure regular and accurate updates of collection information in internal records.
  • Verify and ensure customers direct payments to the correct bank accounts, resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on accepted payment methods.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with delinquent customers, providing information on payment options, answering questions, and resolving collection-related issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports on collections performance, highlighting relevant analyses and proposing improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Business Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically the financial module.
  • Previous experience with protests (notary filings) and credit bureau reporting is desirable.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of financial routines.
  • Basic knowledge of delinquency controls (accounts receivable/collection controls).
