About the role

  • Inspect work environments, identify occupational risks and hazards, and propose corrective and preventive actions to ensure safe conditions across the organization’s units.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and ensure legal compliance of OHS programs, including PGR (Risk Management Program), PCMSO (Occupational Health Medical Control Program), CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention), management of PPE/CPE, and third-party control.
  • Work on prevention of psychosocial risks in the workplace in alignment with NR-1 guidelines, promoting structured actions for mental health and well-being.
  • Conduct trainings, presentations and educational activities related to OHS, safety culture and legal requirements, strengthening employee engagement.
  • Investigate work accidents and incidents, perform root cause analyses, produce technical reports and follow up on implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, participating in internal and external audits, particularly ISO 45001, ensuring evidence, records and compliance.
  • Monitor OHS indicators, analyze data, trends and results to support decision-making and drive improvements in safety performance.
  • Ensure organization, updating and traceability of OHS technical documentation to meet inspections, audits and internal requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources and other departments to foster a preventive, collaborative culture aligned with organizational values.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma in Occupational Safety or equivalent certification recognized by the competent authority.
  • Training in psychosocial risk management and NR-1; Occupational Safety Technical Certificate and training in integrated management systems.
  • Experience with audits and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Experience in development, implementation and management of PGR and PCMSO.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Regulatory Standards, with emphasis on NR-1, NR-5, NR-6, NR-7, NR-9 and related standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of OHS indicators and metrics.
  • Desirable: familiarity with SOC, the e-Social platform (occupational health module) and Integrated Management Systems (SGI).
