About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Senior Developer you bring several years of experience in software development
- Contribute to the design and expansion of our new serverless, cloud-native software platform based on AWS
- Implement scalable Node.js services in the backend
- Define and manage efficient infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK)
- Develop modern frontend components with Svelte
- Design, present, and evaluate technical solutions within an agile team
- Create and evaluate complex cloud architecture concepts
- Define technical standards and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in complex environments using AWS (EC2, Lambda, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, networking technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups), and cloud IT security
- Proven experience in development with Node.js
- You are an expert in JavaScript & TypeScript
- Excellent German language skills at native level (C2), both written and spoken
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Nice-to-have: Experience in the online travel industry
- Nice-to-have: Several years of frontend development experience with Svelte
