About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible to sustain and profitably manage the growth of the business through existing and new product lines and maintaining and building strong customer relationships.
- Work within all safety policies on site and at customer locations.
- Ensure pricing recommendations are accurate and margins are acceptable, based on current cost of manufacturing and materials.
- Ensure inquiries from Nortrak plants and customers are addressed timely.
- Identify opportunities to integrate product and service offering to maximize margins.
- Maintain excellent internal and external customer relationships.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
- 10 years operational and/or technical experience in a similar industry is preferred.
- Five years related sales experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in budget control and profit and loss accountability.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Must be customer focused, details oriented and results oriented.
- Sound knowledge in MS Office standard programs- e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Access.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
