About the role

  • As a DevOps Engineer for the Customer Data Hub (m/f/d) you ensure the 24/7 availability and performance of all platforms and applications you are responsible for, serving end customers, customer support and other business units by analyzing and optimizing the managed systems and building efficient monitoring.
  • You coordinate and drive the independent, goal-oriented resolution of highly complex incidents and troubleshooting by working with our internal development teams, external suppliers and service providers in the Shared Service Centers (TSSC).
  • You improve software and data quality by continuously analyzing recurring errors (incident/problem management) in close cooperation with our agile development teams.
  • You are responsible for deploying our releases as well as initial data loads, and you address security-related issues and data discrepancies through regular patching and reconciliation, as well as implementing disaster recovery measures.
  • You automate workflows by analyzing and optimizing processes and methods and by continuously refining reporting, monitoring, and alerting.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a technical field or industrial engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience operating complex system landscapes, ideally with a focus on K2View/Kafka platforms in AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and automation tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
  • Experience working with ITIL processes and monitoring and analysis tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog).
  • Confident handling of incident, problem and change management in production, mission-critical environments.
  • Extensive process and IT expertise in telecommunications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in international, agile teams.
  • Resilience and willingness to take responsibility in critical situations.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written (C1 CEFR).
