About the role
- Define and implement the overall Risk Management Framework.
- Lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) cycle.
- Establish and manage the Combined Assurance framework.
- Own the Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management program.
- Lead the Third-Party Risk Management framework.
- Provide independent risk assessments for new products, partnerships and technology changes.
- Engage with regulators to ensure compliance with risk, governance and resilience requirements.
- Report risk exposures, gaps in key controls and mitigation plans to ExCo, the Risk Committee and the Board.
- Build and lead a professional Risk Management team.
Requirements
- Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Law or Business.
- Professional risk certifications (IRM, ISO 31000, CISA, CRISC or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years' experience in Risk, Governance or Compliance roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven track record in Risk Management within telecommunications, fintech or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk, operational risk, technology resilience and compliance frameworks.
- Experience implementing BCM, crisis management and combined assurance models.
- Ability to influence senior executives, the Board, regulators and Group stakeholders.
- High critical thinking, independence and the ability to balance business growth with risk appetite.
- Experience in emerging markets or highly regulated industries is an advantage.
- Strong people leadership, with the ability to build capabilities and risk awareness across the organization.
