About the role
- You are responsible for implementing and ensuring adherence to the Scrum process as well as the Scrum-of-Scrums process.
- You proactively support the Release Train Engineer in all tasks related to managing the Agile Release Train and in conducting program-level agile ceremonies (PI Plannings, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt).
- You advise and support the Product Owner in creating user stories, particularly regarding prioritization and sprint planning.
- You maintain the flow of information between the Product Owner and the team, aiming for maximum value and continuous optimization of the agile flow.
- You organize retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities and actively drive the team's change process.
- You track and report sprint progress and remove impediments, especially those involving external dependencies.
- You ensure high quality and productivity through targeted measures and monitoring.
- You promote open, constructive communication between onshore and offshore teams.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration, engineering, mathematics, or a natural science.
- At least five years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development, IT project management, or agile IT solution design.
- Solid knowledge of SAFe and agile methods, ideally with certification.
- Experience supporting Release Train Engineers and coordinating at the program level.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to minimize overhead tasks for the team and manage dependencies with other teams.
- Strong relationship-building and coaching skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive team culture and actively support change.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including proficiency in English.
