About the role
- Ensure Vodacom Group and its subsidiary companies are compliant with applicable laws
- Support the Group Heads of Compliance and stakeholders for compliance with laws and regulations
- Development and review of compliance risk management frameworks and policies
- Prepare and review Compliance Risk Management Plans
- Attend and prepare reports for governance committees
- Train stakeholders on the Legal Compliance Programme
- Support and assist on Compliance Special Projects
Requirements
- LLB Degree or relevant Legal Degree
- Higher relevant degrees will be an advantage
- Compliance specialist qualifications will be an advantage
- Minimum of 10 years’ specialist compliance experience
- Sound knowledge of telecommunications and financial services environment
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance Environment knowledge
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Telecommunications laws
- In-depth knowledge of applicable legislative systems and common law
- Experience in automation, digitization of compliance controls and processes
- Management and leadership skills are essential.
