About the role
- You will take responsibility as Privacy & Security Manager (m/f/d) for activities within the data protection management system and coordinate these with the relevant contacts in the B2C business units at Vodafone.
- You are responsible for providing expert advice on technical and organizational measures.
- You independently advise the respective business units on data protection law matters — for example, the digital and marketing teams or customer service — acting in a solution-oriented manner and balancing legal requirements with business interests.
- You support projects in complying with the requirements of the AI Regulation when deploying AI models and systems.
- You advise business units on meeting the requirements of the Data Act.
- You design, develop and manage company-wide standard processes to implement and review legal and internal requirements in order to establish and maintain legal compliance — e.g. in Sales and/or Data Analytics.
- You represent the department in various internal committees and with partners to coordinate and implement process changes and measures.
- You actively support the department in improving consulting workflows.
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant focus areas.
- At least seven years of professional experience with a focus on IT security in the context of data protection.
- Additional qualifications in data protection/information security are desirable.
- Flexibility, resilience, and strong teamwork and conflict-resolution skills.
- Interest in — and ideally in-depth knowledge of — project management methods and process management.
- Strong conceptual ability to develop and/or optimize processes.
- High customer and service orientation.
- Fluent German and English (C1 CEFR).
