About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality features
- Build scalable microservices and event-driven architectures
- Ensure high availability and performance of backend systems
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with unit and integration tests
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real-time during testing phases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- Proficiency in REST API design, development & integration
- Security best practices in backend development
- Solid grasp of Unit Testing and TDD
- Exposure to Kafka or similar messaging platforms (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture
- Strong experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Solid knowledge of Git and version control best practices
- Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools
- Cloud environment familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure—any is welcome)
- Bonus points for experience with Golang
