About the role
- Designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality across manual and automated processes
- Mentoring junior testers
- Collaborating closely with development teams
- Contributing to test planning and leading test execution
- Advocating for continuous improvement in quality practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software testing, including hands-on test automation
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and automation scripting
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber)
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python)
- Performance testing experience (e.g., JMeter) is a plus
- Certified ISTQB Foundation level is mandatory
- Certified ISTQB Agile tester is mandatory
