About the role

  • Consultative Engagement: Work with relationship owners to provide thought leadership and define sales activity for demand generation and winning fintech propositions.
  • Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities aligned to Vodacom’s fintech plays.
  • Partnership Enablement: Support onboarding and management of banks, insurers, fintechs, and merchants to expand reach and profitability.
  • GTM Execution: Implement go-to-market plans for assigned segments in collaboration with EBU, CBU, and MPESA Africa.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Lead market research on fintech trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments; educate internal stakeholders to shape competitive solutions.
  • Commercial Support: Assist in pricing, bundling, and monetization strategies for consumer and enterprise markets.

Requirements

  • Matric and a 3 year degree in Business Management, Bcom or Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in cloud based Unified Communications applications and Enterprise cloud services, marketing and/or commercial operations
  • Proven track record in pre-sales and solution development
  • Proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales solutions to meet the business and clients needs and driving business results
  • Extensive and strong business acumen with a deep strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand business strategy
