About the role
- Drive business growth and revenue through cross-selling and upselling VB products
- Acquire new SME customers and win back lost accounts
- Establish and manage customer relationships effectively
- Achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales targets
- Minimize downgrades and churn to protect revenue
- Ensure high account management standards for all business accounts
- Identify customer opportunities and assess competition in the area
- Clearly communicate the benefits of Vodacom products in customer presentations
- Match products and services to diverse customer profiles and needs
- Monitor account performance and develop plans to grow each account
Requirements
- University degree in Business Manager, Marketing, or related areas (post graduate will be advantageous)
- Proven experience gained within a business sales channel (must have minimum 2 years B2B sales experience)
- Work experience in Telecommunications / IT Industry will be an advantage
- Strong planning, reporting and organizational skills
- Strong ability to formulate and implement account strategies and plans
- Understanding of technical/IT business solutions
- Enthusiastic and passionate in negotiations, with a strong customer orientation
- Interest to learn about the latest business services and products
- Collaborative/Team-player
- Confidence to enter client sites and present Vodacom services
- Proficient knowledge of English language
- Driving license
