About the role

  • Drive business growth and revenue through cross-selling and upselling VB products
  • Acquire new SME customers and win back lost accounts
  • Establish and manage customer relationships effectively
  • Achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales targets
  • Minimize downgrades and churn to protect revenue
  • Ensure high account management standards for all business accounts
  • Identify customer opportunities and assess competition in the area
  • Clearly communicate the benefits of Vodacom products in customer presentations
  • Match products and services to diverse customer profiles and needs
  • Monitor account performance and develop plans to grow each account

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Manager, Marketing, or related areas (post graduate will be advantageous)
  • Proven experience gained within a business sales channel (must have minimum 2 years B2B sales experience)
  • Work experience in Telecommunications / IT Industry will be an advantage
  • Strong planning, reporting and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to formulate and implement account strategies and plans
  • Understanding of technical/IT business solutions
  • Enthusiastic and passionate in negotiations, with a strong customer orientation
  • Interest to learn about the latest business services and products
  • Collaborative/Team-player
  • Confidence to enter client sites and present Vodacom services
  • Proficient knowledge of English language
  • Driving license
