About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to a complete hardware project (scope defined by priorities) — from concept to pre-series.
- Translate product requirements into a functional electronic architecture (component selection, constraints, schematics).
- Design production-ready multi-layer schematics and PCBs with zero critical errors.
- Develop structured embedded firmware in C (ESP32, STM32, Arduino-class).
- Incorporate mechanical constraints (form factor, connectors, thermal dissipation) from the design phase.
- Assemble, solder, debug, and bring up prototypes independently.
- Design test benches.
- Prepare a pre-series (~10 units): BOM stability, supplier files, manufacturability.
- Produce clear and reusable documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering student specializing in electronics or embedded systems (gap year or final-year internship).
- Able to design a complete PCB independently (schematic + layout).
- Comfortable with embedded C (interrupt handling, I2C, SPI, UART, debugging).
- Hands-on hardware prototyping experience (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
- Understanding of industrialization basics (BOM structuring, DFM, small production runs).
- Structured, rigorous, capable of root cause analysis.
- Strong ability to learn and work autonomously.
- Nice to have: Experience in a robotics club, DIY projects, or 3D printing.
Benefits
Comp & perks- Hybrid working arrangement.
- A valid internship agreement from your school is required (interns receive 1 day off per month).
- Company laptop (Mac or PC) according to your preference.
- Meal vouchers worth €9 per worked day, 60% covered by the company.
- Sustainable mobility allowance.
- Offices located in central Paris (9th arrondissement).
- Annual offsite with the whole team and frequent company events.
