About the role
- Liaison to internal customers regarding master data changes and P2P processes.
- Onboard and perform data conversion activities with new customers.
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve problems of master data in production and non-prod environments.
- Assist in data standardization, vendor research, data categorization, contract research, price updates, price discrepancy review and resolution, and other tasks related to the cleansing and maintenance of member data.
- Research, identify, and collaborate with the different Vizient groups such as product sourcing, contracting, product information management (PIM) as well as our suppliers and members.
- Perform updates and changes to Central Procurement Office management system to include, system setup, Masterfile maintenance, adding new users, and data as needed to support business.
- Work within established guidelines to support predefined data needs for project delivery.
- Learn from peers and direct manager to gain knowledge and expertise.
- Receive guidance and direction to develop and maintain data sets.
Requirements
- Relevant degree preferred
- Experience in one of the larger ERPs is preferred
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient experience with Access
- Proficient experience with Outlook
- Ability to act independently to research and resolve product/customer issues.
