About the role
- Lead healthcare growth for Vizient in the western region by driving revenue and expanding market presence
- Strengthen client relationships and turn growth priorities into actionable sales strategies
- Build trust quickly and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with clients, partners, and C-suite leaders
- Uncover client needs and articulate clear value propositions focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Position multi-solution offerings as integrated, high-impact solutions
- Develop territory plans, account strategies, and growth forecasts while managing high-velocity pipelines
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Vizient across various teams
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and documentation within Salesforce
Requirements
- Relevant degree preferred
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required
- Experience in sales + category expertise/ spend management required
- Category subject matter expertise in areas such as Capital, PPI, Med/Surg, Pharmacy, or Purchased Services preferred
- Experience working with clinical departments that interact with supply chain preferred
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet the clients’ needs and timetables
