About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver customized analyses using internal and external data, including structured, unstructured, raw, and published datasets
- Conduct comparative procedural and supply analytics to identify variation in cost, utilization, outcomes, supplies, physicians, and facility performance
- Analyze complex business challenges and translate data into actionable findings and recommendations supporting strategic, operational, and executive decision-making
- Apply knowledge of competitive factors, Vizient differentiators, industry practices, and relevant data sources to strengthen analyses and insights
- Collaborate with clinical and operational clients to evaluate supply utilization and identify opportunities for standardization, cost optimization, and performance improvement
- Inform and advise clients and internal business partners through data-driven insights
- Plan and facilitate client meetings to gather requirements, understand business processes, communicate findings, and manage expectations
- Ensure data reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with analytical requirements and client needs
- Contribute to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and the development of team best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant degree preferred
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required
- Healthcare analytics experience, including quality, procedural, or supply chain analytics, required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL required
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, data management, and problem-solving skills required
- Experience with Procedural Analytics highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work with limited supervision
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence solutions preferred
- Experience with the Clinical Database (CDB) or Operational Database (ODB) preferred
