About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Experience with Fortinet solutions, especially in WAN and SD-WAN connectivity environments
  • Administration and operation of Fortinet products, SD-WAN (FortiOS) — performance rules, SLAs, health checks and load balancing, IPsec VPNs (site-to-site and client), firewall policies, NAT, configuration deployment via FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer / local logs, monitoring link performance and availability
  • Troubleshooting of: packet loss, latency and jitter, VPN tunnel instability, SD-WAN failover issues, WAN connectivity (Internet/MPLS), VPN tunnels (IPsec / SD-WAN overlay), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), Quality of Service (QoS) and application performance
  • Execute controlled changes (change management), ensuring traceability and risk mitigation
  • Interact with carriers, vendors and internal teams (N1 and N3) to resolve incidents
  • Document incidents, root cause analyses (RCA) and operational procedures
  • Support automation of operational routines and the enhancement of monitoring tools
  • Apply security best practices in Fortinet environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in networking and SD-WAN technology
  • Fortinet NSE3 (Associate) certification or higher
  • Intermediate English (reading, writing and technical troubleshooting)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Innovative mindset (thinking outside the box).
