About the role

  • Responsible for identifying the need to evolve or establish new standards for the corporate and business teams, analyze trade-offs between project requirements (deadlines and costs) versus alternative solutions, and provide recommendations.
  • Guide the activities and solution directions of the solution architects on the team, organize activities in terms of internal processes, and mentor them in their development and in day-to-day technical aspects.
  • Responsible for reusing functionalities and services; must align new solutions with already defined architectural principles, respecting existing standards and integrations.
  • Strive to balance functional and non-functional requirements while prioritizing and making the commitments necessary for the business.
  • Define the best possible architecture within the scope of business priorities.
  • Identify the resources available to execute activities, the business process model, business components, and the applications, services and technologies to support projects.
  • Serve as a focal point for delivery and pre-scope teams and provide support to the systems team and business areas.
  • Understand the organization’s business and technological requirements:
  • The solution architecture must understand the organization’s requirements in order to design architecture solutions that meet business and technology needs. This involves working closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to define clear and precise requirements.
  • Develop architecture solutions:
  • Based on the organization’s requirements, the solution architecture must meet business needs by defining the IT solution in accordance with architecture best practices (standards).
