About the role

  • Plan and define the architecture of IP backhaul transport solutions across HL4, HL5 and synchronization layers for voice, data and TV services, ensuring a balance between quality, cost and schedule.
  • Develop and approve a medium-term (5-year) strategic plan, incorporating technological innovation to maximize financial efficiency.
  • Manage procurement processes with vendors, including issuing RFQs for the acquisition of equipment and services foreseen in the strategic plan.
  • Prepare detailed, robust technical specifications to guide engineering and implementation during project execution.
  • Lead teams and coordinate supplier and internal areas to ensure successful execution of the strategic plan.
  • Critically evaluate requests from other departments and validate the most appropriate solution to meet deadlines and budget.
  • Ensure an end-to-end view of the strategic plan, adopting preventive and corrective actions to keep commitments on track.
  • Monitor the physical and financial execution of investments, proposing opportunities for optimization.

Requirements

  • Preferred university degree completed or in progress (completion by 2026), preferably in STEM or related fields.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and Power BI.
  • Organized with a strong analytical profile; decisions based on facts and documentation.
  • Commitment to and high standards for the quality of deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Solid experience in IP network architecture and backhaul transport.
  • Knowledge of HL4, HL5, synchronization layers and related protocols.
  • Leadership ability and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Negotiation skills with vendors and contract management experience.
  • Strategic vision and focus on technological innovation.
  • Fluency or conversational skills in Spanish and English.
