About the role

  • Manage a team of occupational safety technicians in routine activities, scheduling tasks and developing Occupational Safety actions;
  • Perform activities focused on prevention, complying with legal requirements and conducting assessments to identify all possible risks present in the workplace or related to the execution of work tasks;
  • Monitor work routines in stores, administrative offices, call centers and field operations;
  • Develop APR (Preliminary Risk Analysis), Safety Reports and other related documents;
  • Prepare, review and validate Work Safety Instructions;
  • Design safety programs proposing preventive and corrective actions to eliminate risks;
  • Support the preparation of defense strategies for labor and legal proceedings and other cases, in coordination with other company departments;
  • Conduct technical studies to establish best practices in Occupational Safety;
  • Develop awareness, education and guidance activities for different audiences, including active participation in Safety Dialogues (DSS);
  • Provide technical guidance to occupational safety technicians;
  • Conduct CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) processes;
  • Develop programs, participate in area meetings, carry out technical visits and promote safety campaigns;
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and operational procedures by understanding work processes and applying company rules and procedures, as well as complying with related legislation;
  • Conduct accident investigations, analyze statistical reports and report on indicator trends to management;
  • Identify training needs related to occupational safety and accident prevention;
  • Manage personal and collective protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering with active CREA registration;
  • Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering;
  • Extensive proven experience in the field;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis;
  • Technical writing skills;
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018;
  • Valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel;
  • Experience in Telecommunications and Energy is a plus.
