About the role

  • Act as a strategic consultant and a technical leadership reference, supporting teams and management in VIVO's digital transformation journey.
  • Propose innovative solutions, disseminate best practices, and ensure technical and quality excellence in software development and QA.
  • Provide technical leadership for development and QA initiatives, guiding multidisciplinary teams in adopting high-performance standards, tools, and processes.
  • Perform technical diagnostics, identify gaps, and propose action plans to evolve processes, tools, and a quality-driven culture.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and technical mentoring for development and QA, promoting knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
  • Support the definition and implementation of technical, architectural, and quality standards, ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices, test automation, and QA governance.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting innovation, automation, cross-area integration, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in technical reviews, code reviews, quality audits, and the definition of the technical roadmap.
  • Collaborate with business and IT areas to ensure alignment between technology solutions and strategic objectives.
  • Lead the resolution of critical issues, log analysis, failure tracing, and data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in consulting or technical leadership in software development and QA.
  • Proficiency in modern languages (Java, Kotlin, JavaScript), test automation frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cypress), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
  • Advanced knowledge of software quality practices, TDD, BDD, code review, monitoring, and observability.
  • Experience in telecommunications environments is a plus.
