About the role
- Build, maintain and evolve robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, GCP and SQL.
- Ensure quality, governance, security and performance across data ingestion, transformation and data-serving flows.
- Serve as a technical reference for data architecture design and engineering best practices.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, structured technical requirements.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities, understand processes, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Monitor, diagnose and resolve issues in critical pipelines to ensure high availability.
- Participate in defining standards, frameworks and data engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of the data ecosystem by evaluating and testing new technologies and frameworks.
Requirements
- Solid experience in data engineering and building complex pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, etc.).
- Advanced understanding of data architectures, ETL/ELT processes and CI/CD.
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in environments that require autonomy and rapid decision-making.
