About the role

  • Create, develop and maintain data validation processes based on an understanding of business needs.
  • Establish data quality criteria and metrics, such as accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Understand the existing data ecosystem to ensure the best use of information.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand analytical needs and provide recommendations/solutions that address organizational, data-driven challenges.
  • Create indicators to monitor data behavior.
  • Promote and implement a data-driven culture within the area.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in the team’s ceremonies.

Requirements

  • Academic background preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Processing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Data Analyst.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Experience in data modeling (relational and multidimensional).
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle and Teradata.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Hive and Spark.
  • Experience with PL/SQL programming.
  • Knowledge of Telecom flows and commissioning.
  • Experience with Databricks is desirable.
