About the role

  • Map opportunities with stakeholders and translate business problems into data objectives (KPIs, OKRs).
  • Define vision, value proposition, and roadmap for data products (datasets, semantic layers, features for AI, data APIs, and dashboards).
  • Maintain a backlog of epics/stories with clear acceptance criteria (quality, coverage, latency, cost).
  • Prioritize by business impact (CAC/LTV, churn, revenue, NPS, operational efficiency).
  • Oversee the data lifecycle from ingestion to exposure (data catalog, APIs, BI), ensuring data quality (completeness, accuracy, compliance, SLOs).
  • Plan releases, measure adoption, and promote continuous improvement and reuse.
  • Ensure compliance with LGPD/GDPR (legal bases, data minimization, anonymization/pseudonymization, consent, data subject rights).
  • Work with Security/Legal on DPIAs and controls (privacy by design, access controls/masking).
  • Create functional documentation (data contracts), usage guides, and promote data literacy.
  • Deliver executive status reports and rituals (QBRs) with outcomes and learnings.
  • Run A/B tests, pilots, and causal analyses to validate hypotheses.
  • Measure product value (usage, outcomes, ROI) and adjust the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data PO/PM, Analytics Product Manager, or Data Platform Product Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product discovery.
  • Experience in data modeling and data quality, metrics, and defining SLAs/SLOs.
  • Solid understanding of LGPD/GDPR as applied to data products.
  • Preferred: proficiency in SQL and familiarity with reading pipelines (ETL/ELT, data lakes/warehouses).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) and data catalogs.
  • Understanding of ML/feature stores and MLOps (for prioritization and impact measurement).
  • Design Thinking/Design Sprint techniques adapted to data.
  • Data Mesh methodologies and data contracts.
  • Experience with the B2B segment and digital products.
