About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Welcoming patients and assisting medical staff
- Delivering safe, compassionate care in accordance with all external and internal guidelines and regulations.
- Room clinic patients and update patient chart with required information
- Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses
- Provide administrative and front-end support including managing phone calls and processing payments.
- Oversees efficient turnover of exam rooms and assist providers as requested
- Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens
- Triage patient phone calls and messages and document them
- Order and manage supplies under the direction of manager.
- Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school graduate or equivalent, required.
- Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
- CPR/BLS, required prior to start date.
- 1 year of experience working within a clinical environment, required.
- 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role, required.
- Phlebotomy and lab processing skills, preferred.
