About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Welcoming patients and assisting medical staff
  • Delivering safe, compassionate care in accordance with all external and internal guidelines and regulations.
  • Room clinic patients and update patient chart with required information
  • Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses
  • Provide administrative and front-end support including managing phone calls and processing payments.
  • Oversees efficient turnover of exam rooms and assist providers as requested
  • Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens
  • Triage patient phone calls and messages and document them
  • Order and manage supplies under the direction of manager.
  • Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school graduate or equivalent, required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
  • CPR/BLS, required prior to start date.
  • 1 year of experience working within a clinical environment, required.
  • 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role, required.
  • Phlebotomy and lab processing skills, preferred.
