Medical Assistant, Clinical Service Specialist
Vivo Infusion®Medical Assistant providing clinical support to patients and the medical team at Vivo Infusion. Handling administrative tasks and ensuring safe patient care in a clinical setting.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Welcoming patients and assisting medical staff
- Delivering safe, compassionate care in accordance with all external and internal guidelines and regulations
- Providing administrative and front-end support: Greet patients, assist with scheduling, manage phone calls (incoming and outgoing), and process payments
- Overseeing and ensuring efficient turnover of exam rooms
- Assisting provider in the exam room as requested
- Collecting, preparing, and submitting ordered patient lab specimens as directed
- Triage patient phone calls and messages and document them appropriately
- Ordering and managing supplies under the direction of manager
- Disinfecting and stocking the exam rooms
- Maintaining confidentiality of all company and patient records. Adhere to HIPPA.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school graduate or equivalent, required
- Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
- CPR/BLS, required prior to start date
- 1 year of experience working within a clinical environment, required
- 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role, required
- Phlebotomy and lab processing skills, preferred
