About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for Product Management, Tech/Software Engineering and Business Intelligence
Direct reporting to the CEO and membership in the Core Leadership Team
Strategic development of the Product and Tech organization
Establishing clear responsibilities, reliable decision-making processes and a high-quality, fast-paced way of working
Leading the strategic development of the existing and future product portfolio
Aligning product and technology decisions
Discussing architectural decisions with engineering leaders
Assessing technical risks and making well-founded decisions
Using AI to improve personalization, adherence and clinical outcomes
Using AI to measurably improve the software development lifecycle
Developing productive applications with demonstrable value in a regulated medical device environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of leadership experience in complex Product and Tech organizations
Experience in strategically developing and transforming Product and Technology organizations
Experience with software architecture, technical debt, modernization, migration, software delivery or engineering productivity
Ability to discuss architectural decisions, assess technical risks and make robust decisions
Hands-on experience and judgment in identifying and evaluating AI opportunities
Ideally, hands-on delivery of applications or AI-driven processes into production
Experience in healthcare, digital health, MedTech or a comparable regulated software environment is a plus
Direct DiGA experience is a strong plus
Knowledge of the German healthcare system
Business-fluent German and English
Proven track record of taking responsibility, making difficult decisions and delivering measurable results
A company-level perspective on Product, Engineering and Vivira as a whole
