About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform monthly cost and inventory closings;
Execute accounting reconciliations for inventory, WIP (work in progress), finished goods and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold);
Determine average costs and absorption costing;
Prepare margin, profitability and cost-variance analyses;
Manage inventories and perform related adjustments;
Monitor third-party/outsourced manufacturing processes;
Control and track Production Orders;
Review fiscal and accounting configurations in the ERP;
Support internal and external audits;
Develop KPIs, reports and automations to support management;
Work in partnership with Tax, Accounting, Manufacturing/Industrial, Supply Chain and Controllership teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree: preferably in Accounting or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal and tax legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply them in practice.
Experience with industrial costing and inventory controllership;
Knowledge of costing methods (absorption costing, variable costing, ABC costing, etc.).
Control of inventory-related costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average cost).
Experience with Protheus ERP, especially the SIGAEST, SIGACTB, SIGACOM, SIGAFAT and SIGACST modules;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills to present analyses and reports to senior management.
