About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with the monthly closing of costs and inventories;
Perform basic stock and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) reconciliations;
Support analyses of cost variances and inventory movements;
Verify invoices related to inventories;
Monitor physical inventories and assist in resolving discrepancies;
Prepare operational and management reports for the Cost department;
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence;
Assist in the standardization of processes and internal controls;
Provide support to the Tax, Accounting and Supply Chain areas on cost-related matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Undergraduate degree in progress or completed in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related fields;
Experience in Costing, Controlling, Accounting or Inventory management;
Basic knowledge of average costing, cost formation and profitability analysis;
Experience with month-end closing routines and inventory reconciliations;
Well organized with strong attention to detail, ensuring posting accuracy and data integrity;
Ability to work in a team and follow guidance from analysts and supervisors;
Proactive with a willingness to learn about costing processes, accounting and controllership;
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
Knowledge of the Protheus ERP is desirable.
