About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform collections for delinquent customers, negotiating payment terms and conditions;
Issue payment slips (boletos) and reprints when necessary;
Monitor the customer portfolio, tracking due dates and overdue accounts;
Record interactions and negotiations in the system;
Update customer records;
Generate collection reports to identify delinquency risks and support corrective actions;
Support protest procedures and legal actions;
Work collaboratively with the commercial, finance and legal teams, maintaining an ethical, courteous and respectful approach in customer relations.
Support credit analysis activities by verifying financial, registration and customer history information, including checks with credit bureaus;
Serve internal and external customers promptly and efficiently;
Perform manual releases of advance orders by completing reports for the settlements/clearing team;
Execute and monitor credit releases in accordance with internal policies, using the company's systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma required - higher education in progress in Administration, Accounting or related fields is preferred.
Previous experience in credit and collections or customer service.
Basic knowledge of finance and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
