About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform collections for delinquent customers, negotiating payment terms and conditions;
- Issue payment slips (boletos) and reprints when necessary;
- Monitor the customer portfolio, tracking due dates and overdue accounts;
- Record interactions and negotiations in the system;
- Update customer records;
- Generate collection reports to identify delinquency risks and support corrective actions;
- Support protest procedures and legal actions;
- Work collaboratively with the commercial, finance and legal teams, maintaining an ethical, courteous and respectful approach in customer relations.
- Support credit analysis activities by verifying financial, registration and customer history information, including checks with credit bureaus;
- Serve internal and external customers promptly and efficiently;
- Perform manual releases of advance orders by completing reports for the settlements/clearing team;
- Execute and monitor credit releases in accordance with internal policies, using the company's systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required - higher education in progress in Administration, Accounting or related fields is preferred.
- Previous experience in credit and collections or customer service.
- Basic knowledge of finance and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
