About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute the purchasing and sourcing strategy defined by the Company and direct leadership, ensuring adherence to the area's guidelines;
Manage day-to-day purchasing operations, ensuring supply, service levels and stock balance;
Conduct negotiations with suppliers within established parameters and strategies;
Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance, innovation and risk mitigation;
Ensure procurement governance, compliance, internal policies and contract adherence;
Monitor operational indicators (stockouts, coverage, turnover, service level), taking corrective actions when necessary;
Prepare analyses and recommendations to support decision-making and governance forums;
Identify operational deviations and escalate relevant issues or those outside policy to direct leadership;
Work collaboratively with Planning, Commercial, Logistics and Finance;
Lead and develop the team (coordinators, buyers and analysts), ensuring productivity, performance, autonomy and succession;
Ensure discipline in execution and standardization of processes;
Support direct leadership in building strategies, market analyses and planning.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Logistics or related fields and postgraduate degree/MBA;
Experience in strategic procurement and negotiation with high financial impact;
Experience in category management and strategic suppliers;
Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies and cost management (TCO);
Knowledge of Supply Chain, Planning and Inventory Management;
Experience in leading and developing teams.
**Desired **
Experience in high-complexity environments (retail, manufacturing or distribution).
