About the role
- Respond to tickets and resolve technical and functional issues related to Tax Classification and Receiving.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Legal teams to provide technical support related to the area.
- Monitor and implement updates in tax classification systems, ensuring that new tax rules and NCM updates are correctly incorporated.
- Work with IT and external vendors to perform integrations and updates as needed.
- Train the tax team and other users on systems, facilitating proper use of tools and ensuring efficiency in the classification process.
- Create and maintain user manuals and best-practice guidelines for user reference.
- Monitor systems' compliance with tax regulations by performing periodic tests to validate the accuracy of classifications and applied tax rates.
- Ensure tax-related tools remain up to date and functional, supporting the performance of the Tax Classification team and the accuracy of tax processes.
- Provide guidance to other departments regarding proper procedures.
- Assist with other duties related to the role/department as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, International Trade or related fields.
- Knowledge of receiving processes and tax classification.
- Ability to manage technical issues and collaborate with IT and vendors.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with different departments and tax authorities.
- Experience with ERP systems and tax classification tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
