About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Owning and scaling the Sports vertical across Europe, working directly with executives at sports clubs, leagues, tournaments and other sports-focused events
  • Playing an active role in key deals, including deal strategy, executive alignment, and closing
  • Leading by example, as well as coaching and developing a team of Account Executives, with a strong emphasis on performance, accountability, and progression
  • Partnering closely with the Head of Business Development to transition and develop BDRs into successful AEs, including enablement, ramp plans, and ongoing coaching
  • Defining and executing the sales strategy for the Sports vertical, in collaboration with GTM, Sales and executive leadership
  • Driving forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and revenue predictability through disciplined use of data and metrics
  • Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of the sports ecosystem, including upcoming tournaments, events, trends, and market dynamics
  • Traveling as needed to support customers, team development, and industry engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of leadership experience scaling sales teams (in Sports, Ticketing, or SaaS)
  • 5+ years of experience in active full-cycle sales roles
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
  • Proficiency in forecasting and pipeline management
  • The ability to balance strategic leadership and active deal involvement
  • A data-driven focus on metrics and results
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Business fluency in German and English; additional fluent languages are a plus
