About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently lead consulting projects to optimize operating costs and revenues with the goal of sustainably improving the profitability of partner hospitals
Plan, manage and coordinate projects in the medical area, e.g., public tenders under the VgV and cross-functional projects within hospitals
Facilitate workshops with managing directors, heads of finance, chief physicians, and medical and nursing decision-makers
Support and further develop expert networks in collaboration with hospitals and industry partners
Support the procurement department and work closely with contracted suppliers
Deliver professional project management including communication, documentation, and the refinement of templates and standards within your area of responsibility
Actively shape and further develop the consulting portfolio taking into account current regulatory, economic and market-specific developments (e.g., expansion of outpatient care, hospital reform and sustainability)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed medical or nursing training with an additional business qualification, or a degree in business administration
Several years of professional experience in healthcare or in MedTech (e.g., sales, OR management, hospital controlling, medical controlling, hospital procurement) or as a management consultant
Strong medical knowledge and solid understanding of medical devices, ideally in the area of high-end implants and/or OR consumables
Understanding of clinical service and care processes as well as billing structures in inpatient hospital operations and, ideally, also in outpatient settings
Strong skills in structuring and performing detailed analyses of providers' procurement data
High flexibility and willingness to travel across Germany
A strong communicator with a confident presence and well-developed facilitation, presentation and consulting skills.
