About the role

  • Preparation, creation and monitoring of framework agreements with contracted suppliers
  • Conducting price negotiations and developing various pricing models
  • Maintaining and shaping supplier relationships
  • Monitoring and managing sales trends
  • Market monitoring and evaluation to derive purchasing strategies
  • Ongoing updating of the supplier and item catalog in our own database
  • Preparation of comparative calculations – development of optimization proposals for the product areas of suture materials and hernia meshes (projects)
  • Technical support for our Key Account Managers in project work at contracted institutions, and presenting the prepared comparative calculations yourself via MS Teams
  • Advising and assisting with day-to-day purchasing questions, e.g. product queries and support in communication with suppliers
  • Creating/optimizing specifications for the areas of suture materials and hernia meshes
  • Checking product comparability -> creating a product comparison matrix
  • Data entry as preparation
  • Development/optimization of pricing models

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a business-related field, or alternatively completed vocational training with professional experience or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable
  • Good Excel skills; preferably experience with ERP/inventory management processes
  • Confident handling of numbers combined with analytical thinking skills
  • English skills are a plus but not mandatory
