About the role

  • Managing a defined portfolio of regional and national suppliers and handling day-to-day operational tasks
  • Independently negotiating terms and conducting annual supplier review meetings
  • Responsible for supplier analysis and commodity group/product category analyses
  • Supporting procurement projects during the onboarding process for new customers
  • Monitoring market trends in the food sector
  • Continuously optimizing procurement processes and implementing new purchasing tools

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration or commercial vocational training with relevant further training/specialized qualifications
  • Several years of experience in procurement/purchasing
  • Experience in food procurement (advantageous but not required)
  • Team player with reliability and a sense of responsibility
  • Structured and methodical working style
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Confident appearance and excellent communication skills
  • Resilience and perseverance
  • Numeric affinity and conceptual thinking
  • Proficient with common MS Office applications; experience with ERP systems is a plus
