About the role
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications and systems using Ruby on Rails;
- Drive the evolution of B2B solutions and initiatives for the "Mais Saúde" product;
- Develop and maintain integrations with systems within the RD Saúde ecosystem;
- Work on integrations with services built in other technologies, such as .NET (C#) and Java;
- Write clean, readable code following software development best practices and design patterns;
- Design and implement solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and high availability;
- Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively;
- Actively participate in the software development lifecycle, from planning through delivery;
- Take part in code reviews to ensure the quality of the team's codebase;
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical evolution of applications;
- Mentor and support less senior team members, acting as a technical reference;
- Explore opportunities for innovation, including customization of solutions and the use of AI where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a backend developer with Ruby on Rails;
- Experience with system architecture, APIs, and service integration;
- Experience working with high-scale applications and a focus on performance;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with other areas and technical teams;
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB);
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Experience writing automated tests (RSpec, Capybara, or similar);
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms;
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub;
