About the role
- Design new, innovative web applications
- Improve and extend the company’s existing access control software
- Participate in functional requirements analysis
- Take part in feasibility studies
- Prepare specification documents
- Unit testing and verification
- Technical documentation
- Bug fixes and application maintenance
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good command of technical English
- Object-oriented PHP, object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
- SQL queries (MySQL)
- XML and JSON structures
- Web services: SOAP and RESTful
- Client-server architectures and web server stacks (LAMP)
- Experience with TYPO3 CMS and the ExtJS framework is a plus
- Mobile application development is a plus
- Collaboration tools (Git, Confluence, Redmine, Wiki, etc.)
- Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment is a plus
